Join our farmers market neighbors — The Empowerment Factory — on a community walk through the hallways of the Hope Artiste Village building, an historic renovated mill building with a bustling community and expansive hallways. While it may be cold outside, the temperatures will be just right for walking inside.
Shop at the farmers market 9am to 1pm, then meet at The Empowerment Factory at 1:30pm (Yellow Hallway, 999 Main Street entrance) for the Winter Wellness Walk. After about 30 minutes of walking, the group will gather at The Empowerment Factory to enjoy a celebratory cup of hot soup and to get to know one another better.
Note only is this a fun & fit event, it’s also designed to:
- Launch a community initiative that brings people together
- Start a discussion about how to expand this event into ongoing walking clubs for local seniors, professionals, youth, and families
- Develop a networking community of individuals interested in building healthier lifestyles
