Making It Happen: Farm Profitability and Success Training
In-person sessions: Feb 3, 12-4pm; Feb 10, 12-4pm; Snow date: Feb 17, 12-4pm

The Making It Happen: Profitability and Success Training series for farmers and food processors in February 2020 will give you the financial management toolbox needed to answer these questions confidently and improve your business decision making and profitability. This interactive course presents four tools — cash flow budgeting, scenario planning, enterprise budgeting, and sensitivity analysis — that “are fundamental and work well together to provide a comprehensive toolbox,” according to a 2018 course participant.

Our Streets PVD: February Mobility Justice Series
Feb 21, 6-8:30pm: An Evening Keynote with Gil Penalosa, Founder of 8 80 Cities and former Commissioner of Bogota, Colombia

Thriving cities are places that everyone can call home, regardless of age and ability. These cities prioritize the happiness, health, and overall well-being of its residents by providing many choices for mobility. Join us and the Providence Preservation Society for an evening keynote and reception with Gil Penalosa, former Commissioner of Bogota, Colombia, and the founder and chair of 8 80 Cities. Gil advises decision-makers and communities around the world on how to create vibrant and healthy cities for all.
