Look Who’s Buying & Selling Local Food!

November 1, 2018

Here are just a couple of the many wholesale customers who ordered fresh food from local farms through Market Mobile this week!

The Children’s Workshop
151 Hunt St
Central Falls, RI, 02863

At The Children’s Workshop, our first priority is your child. And because we’re run by parents, with young children like yours, we strive every day to create warm, nurturing, environments where children can explore and learn. Our experienced team of early childhood professionals is committed to the unique and individual development of every child in our care…We are so much more than a “day care” service that simply provides supervision for your children. Rather, we are a child care organization focused on wellness, learning, and fun…Our family is honored to nurture, teach, and inspire children, educators, families, and communities to realize their full potential and create a more compassionate world.

The Green Grocer
934 E Main Rd
Portsmouth, RI, 02871

Organic, non-GMO and local whenever possible. About the owners… John Wood and Aly Marks-Wood have lived in Portsmouth for over a decade. Proud parents to two beautiful boys, Caleb and Aden, both Aly & John are passionate about community, natural and organic foods, and family. John started out learning about the natural and organic lifestyle from his wife. After serving a tour of duty in Desert Storm in 1991, John found himself suffering some symptoms of what came to be known as Gulf War Syndrome. A doctor suggested to John that GWS was actually a form of “environmental illness” and suggested eliminating as many of the environmental toxins from John’s every day life as possible and introducing a regimen of vitamins and minerals to supplement the bodies deficiencies. Aly, already leading a simpler lifestyle, was such a blessing in putting John on the right path. It would take years to convince John that the steps to prime health required him to change the majority of his daily choices, but now you would be hard pressed to convince him otherwise. He swears by a natural lifestyle to not feeling fatigued all of the time, clear minded, happy and healthy.
