Local Businesses Sourcing Local Food This Week

June 6, 2018

Here are just a couple of the many wholesale customers who ordered fresh food from local farms through Market Mobile this week!

Apple Blossom Preschool & Early Learning Center
136 County Rd
Barrington, RI, 02806

Apple Blossom Preschool is a holistic, play-based center founded on the LifeWays and Waldorf educational philosophies suited for children aged 18 months to 5 years. They encourage the holistic development of young children in mind, body, and spirit, and will be serving families by providing ongoing play-groups, child care, and community events. They believe that the best early education considers the whole child.

Belmont Market
600 Kingstown Rd
Wakefield, RI, 02879

Fist established in 1947 as a seasonal fruit and vegetable stand, Belmont Fruit (as it was known) was named by current owner Jack Siravo’s grandfather after New York’s famed Belmont Park racetrack. Since then, Jack has transformed his family’s wholesale produce business and seasonal fruit stand into Belmont Market, Wakefield’s premier supermarket. Today, Belmont Market continues to run its own wholesale produce operation and sources locally whenever possible.

What’s Fresh & Local This Week?
