Would you like to take care of your hair and skin naturally? Come meet Naturally Karmah.
The Naturally Karmah company is based in Providence, RI. “I decided to stop using chemicals in my hair and return back to natural,” said Gabbie Pognon, the company founder. Having a difficult time finding affordable products, she researched and began to create her own. Today Gabbie is grateful and excited to share these creations with you. In fact, you may have tried some of her products already at a Farm Fresh farmers market in season’s past.
Naturally Karmah products are created for both men and women. For men, Gabbie has formulated SheaManKo balm for both hair and skin care. Do you have a beard? BAB Oil is translated as beard oil in Haitian Creole. This product helps to soften hair and nourish the skin under your beard. For women, Gabbie has created Bouche Lip Love to care for dry lips, and herbal hair and scalp oils with avocado, coconut, and castor oil to treat your beautiful head. Head 2 Toe body butter helps maintain soft hair and skin. These are just a few goodies.
I spoke with Gabbie recently to learn more.
What are the benefits of Naturally Karmah products?
Body butters maintain very soft and supple skin. The oils maintain a healthy scalp while nourishing hair. The ingredients are natural — some locally sourced, organic, and/or kosher. Gabbie is very particular when choosing ingredients. Every ingredient has a purpose and is combined to create a unique formulation. Shea butter is one common ingredient. Buriti oil is a more unusual one. The buriti fruit is native to the Amazon, rich in beta carotene. I learned from Gabbie that this oil will help restore your skin’s elasticity, and possibly improve wound healing!
Where can you find Naturally Karmah products?
Naurally Karmah products are sold at Farm Fresh farmers markets. You will also eventually be able purchase products online. “I am super grateful for the opportunity to do something that I am passionate about and share it by working with Farm Fresh, thank you,” said Gabbie. “Thank you to all that have and continue to support Naturally Karmah, it’s greatly appreciated.”
