We’re thrilled that you’ve decided to purchase great food from local farms through our wholesale distribution system. By ordering through Market Mobile you’ll not only get fresh foods from a wide array of local farmers and producers in a single order and delivery, you’ll be helping our local economy thrive.
Every week, Farm Fresh works with local producers to list food for sale online. Producers log on to the Market Mobile site and enter the products they will be able to harvest that particular week, the quantity available, and the price per unit.
Customers receive an email reminder, including new and featured products that week. Once logged in, they select the specific items from the specific producers. Early the following morning, those orders are emailed to the farmers for harvesting.
Harvesting & Receiving
Farms harvest and prepare orders for our Packhouse. We've timed the drop-offs to coincide with popular farmers market days so that many farms can make a single trip for both markets and Market Mobile. Once delivered to us, items hot from the fields are sorted to cool in the appropriate temperature/moisture coolers.
Early in the morning, a crew of Farm Fresh RI staff and volunteers aggregate products into customer orders and pack our delivery trucks. Each truck can handle a route of 15–20 customers. We pay farmers and producers and invoice customers. There is no delivery fee for customers meeting our minimum. Buyers can choose to pick up instead of receiving a delivery.
Farm Fresh RI is a nonprofit organization. 18 percent of Market Mobile sales goes directly to cover the costs of the Market Mobile service, and the rest goes to the farmers and producers. Market Mobile works for customers and producers; the savings provided through shared deliveries and invoicing is greater than what it would cost farmers to individually sell, deliver, and invoice such a wide range of customers.
We deliver throughout Rhode Island, the Boston-metro area, and along the 95/128 corridor.

Local farmers and producers update their items/price lists each week, prior to the order day. The order form is organized by farm/producer name. To find a specific item, use the “find” feature in your web browser.
There are two order days. You can make changes to your cart anytime on an order day.
- Mondays from 12:00 am to Tuesdays at 6:30 am for delivery on Thursdays.
- Thursdays from 12:00 am to Friday at 6:30 am for delivery on Tuesdays.
Note: Certain meat producers list pieces by the pound, rather than by the unit. Weights available (by cut piece) are listed in the Comment section of the order form. If ordering meat, please add up the total poundage of your order and enter it in the Qty box based on the available pieces.
For deliveries in Rhode Island, there is a $100 order minimum. For deliveries to Boston and the Rt. 128 corridor, there is a $150 order minimum. To pick up your order at our Packhouse in Pawtucket, there is a $60 minimum.
For orders that do not meet the minimum requirements, a small service charge is added, proportional to how close the order is to the minimum. For example, orders $30 below the minimum would incur a $4.80 fee and orders $4 below would incur a 72¢ fee.
Late additions to your purchase may be possible the morning following order day — before 10 am. Call the office at (401) 312-4250 to discuss revising your order.
Once you have an account with us, you can log in to Market Mobile and view a Seasonal Planner with information about which items will likely be available at the beginning and end of each month. (Click the tab located to the right of the Order tab.) The information provided is based on the prior years' Market Mobile availability.
Orders placed on Monday will be delivered on Thursday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Orders placed on Thursday will be delivered on Tuesday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Sometimes deliveries may be earlier or later due to conditions out of our control. If you have special delivery needs, please include them on your Delivery & Billing Prefs page under “Delivery Notes.” We will make every effort to accommodate your needs and will communicate about any last-minute changes.
Please review the invoice when our driver delivers your order, and note any missing items or quality issues. You must notify us of any issues within 24 hours of delivery. You are responsible for purchasing what you have ordered unless there is a quality issue. Please review your online order confirmation the day after ordering (always available in your Purchase History) to ensure it is correct.
Pickup orders are available on delivery days from 10:00 am to 5:00pm at our Packhouse, room 2235 in the Hope Artiste Village building located at 1005 Main St, Pawtucket, RI, 02860.
You will receive an email linking to your order invoice the morning after order day, and a printed copy of your invoice will accompany your delivery. In addition, all of your order invoices are always available in your Purchase History. Please keep us updated with an accurate accounts payable contact person.
For new Market Mobile customers, we request payment COD (cash on delivery). Our drivers will gladly accept checks and money orders when they deliver to you. For established customers with a history of on time payments, our standard terms are net 20. To be eligible for these terms you must have eight (8) consecutive COD transactions and complete our credit application. (You can submit your credit application as soon as you like, but terms will not be extended until after eight consecutive orders have been completed).
Send checks or completed credit applications to Farm Fresh RI at 1005 Main St, suite 8130, Pawtucket, RI, 02860. We write checks to farmers within 10–15 days, regardless of when we receive your payment, so we are very appreciative of prompt payments!
