We are excited to invite you to our new facility in the Valley neighborhood of Providence. You'll enjoy a large selection of local farm and food vendors in a custom-built facility designed for hosting year-round markets. Our new building has a premium ventilation system (Merv13), ceiling fans and lots of natural airflow, wide hallways that ensure COVID-19 distancing, and convenient parking. This market accepts cash, credit/debit, SNAP/EBT, Bonus Bucks, and WIC.

Every Sunday through May 23, 2021, the Providence Flea will take over our market halls, 11am to 3pm!
We don't consider ourselves a typical flea market. We're a marketplace, for sure, inspired by the insanely popular, fun and famous flea in Brooklyn, New York. Our vendors are carefully selected, small- and micro-businesses, and their wares are hand-picked, homemade, handcrafted and small batch. What you won't find is anything mass-produced or licensed, or typically sold through groups, clubs, franchises or independent salespeople on a large scale.
In many cases our vendors are using the Flea as an incubator, to meet their customers, get instant product feedback, as a launchpad to grow and to move on to the next level.
Bring your residential food scraps for composting! Please drop off only compostable materials into the compost collection bin, located toward the back of the Farm Fresh parking lot (by the loading docks!) — for pickup by the good folks at Rhodeside Revival.
Support Farm Fresh RI (a 501c3 nonprofit) with every purchase of our merchandise at the Sims Market! Show your support from head to tote with Farm Fresh T-shirts and hats, tote bags, greeting cards, Harvest Kitchen gift packs, and more — at the Harvest Kitchen table every Saturday, 9am-1pm.
We are located at 10 Sims Ave, Providence

We kindly remind you that masks/face coverings are required at all times — inside and outside the market. The only exception is stationary eating or drinking outside, where we offer food trucks and distanced seating. Please do not walk around the market without a mask on. Thank you.
This season, Sims Market is considered an “open air market” — with open garage-style doors lining the market halls and vendors both inside and out. Starting May 1, we will not be counting as you enter and exit the market, but will be enforcing masks and safe distancing.
Please say hi to friends outside, spaced seating is available.
Consider sending one person in to shop for your group.
Stay home if you are sick or have been exposed.
Face masks must be worn at all times.
Stay at least 6 feet away from vendors and others.
Do not touch anything you don't intend to buy.
Eating and sampling are not permitted inside.
This market is operated by Farm Fresh Rhode Island. We are also happy to connect you with the many other farmers markets held each season across RI. Find the farmers markets nearest you for the 2021 outdoor market season.
NEED BUCKS AT THE FARMERS MARKET?
No need to hunt for an ATM or skip vendors who don't have mobile POS. Just swipe your debit or credit card at the farmers market welcome table to receive Fresh Bucks. This token-based currency, launched by Farm Fresh in 2007, never expires and can be redeemed at many participating farmers markets in Rhode Island.
More fresh food with SNAP dollars

While farmers market shoppers may be familiar with our Fresh Bucks (and Bonus Bucks) token system, it's important to note that there is another federal benefit program that helps keep our … Read More →
