Mabel is serving a year with Farm Fresh RI through the AmeriCorps VISTA program, focusing on community connections and infrastructure to enhance the Rhode Island Farm 2 School Network. She is a recent graduate from Johnson & Wales University where she studied Food & Beverage Entrepreneurship and Culinary Sustainability. Mabel is eager to collaborate with the producers and consumers of the local Rhode Island food system to increase food literacy, nutrition security, and sustainability education across the state.
