Join us at the largest indoor farmers market in the Northeast region — 9am–1pm, every Saturday until April 25, 2020! Look forward to fresh produce, dairy, fish, meat, baked goods, prepared foods, wellness products, and more from over 85 local farmers and producers this season. We’ll see you at the Hope Artiste Village building, 1005 Main Street, Pawtucket (click for map).
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Dear friends,The Farm Fresh Winter Market in Pawtucket will stay open this Saturday. However, in light of the Governor’s recommendation about large events, we are treating the market as an essential grocery shopping access point, not a social gathering. There will be no musicians, balloon lady, community partners, etc. this week.
IMPORTANT CHANGES
- Please shop and go. We love hanging out together at the market, but during this uncertain time, we encourage you to pick up what you need and head out.
- Prepared food vendors and food trucks will be offering their products in to-go containers only. This is in an effort to minimize congregation at the market. It’s delicious, just take it to go!
- Sorry, there will be no sampling whatsoever.
Please Note: All of this is subject to change as official recommendations around the Coronavirus evolve. We are monitoring recommendations from the RI Department of Health (RIDOH) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) carefully, and will make timely decisions to support the health of our vendors and customers.
As per our usual market / RIDOH guidelines:
- Sneeze guards are used for any non-packaged ready-to-eat items, such as baked goods. (Produce is not considered “ready to eat” and should always be washed at home before being consumed.)
- Vendors and Farm Fresh RI staff and volunteers are being extra vigilant about washing hands, sanitizing surfaces frequently, and not working at the market when sick.
What you can do to help:
- Please practice the common sense recommendations public health professionals are making. Wash your hands often and thoroughly. Sneeze or cough into a tissue or your elbow. Please do not attend the market if you are sick.
- If you have a friend or neighbor who is in a more vulnerable population (such as elderly, those with respiratory problems, etc.), consider offering to pick up groceries for them at the farmers market, so they don’t have to come.
- If you would like to support the local musicians and community groups who were planning to attend the market this week, please consider learning more about them, buying their music, etc.
- Musicians: Accordion Cool, Cajun Hobos
- Community Groups: Arcadia Power, The Gordon School, Hope’s Harvest RI, Providence Journal, Renewal by Anderson
These are strange times indeed, and things are changing rapidly. We will stay in close communication with you as the situation develops. We are striving to keep the market open for the sake of the farmers and food makers who rely on it for business and to keep fresh, local food accessible to you when it’s needed. Eat your vegetables, support your neighbors!
Thank you,
– The Farm Fresh RI Team
EXTENSIVE SELECTION OF LOCAL FOODS
The market features a wide variety of locally grown produce, poultry, meats, and cheeses; locally caught fish and shellfish; baked goods and prepared foods; value-added items like salsas, jams, sauces, ferments, pickles, kimchi, and krauts; self-care products, decorations, and seasonal gifts; and so much more!
With two long, connected hallways filled with vendors — which we refer to as the Green hallway (1005 Main Street entrance) and Yellow hallway (999 Main Street entrance) — there’s something for everyone at the Farm Fresh Winter Market!

Free Art Workshops for Kids The Empowerment Factory‘s “Free Art Workshops for Kids” take place every Saturday at 10:00am and 11:30am.
