September at the Armory Farmers Market

Thursdays are Armory Farmers Market days! Join us at the Dexter Training Grounds (aka “Armory Park”), 46 Parade St on the West End of Providence, every Thursday 3:30–7:00pm (or dusk). Enjoy tasty food from local farmers and producers, local musicians, and special events for the whole family! Here’s what’s in store at the market this September.

The American Band
A symphonic concert band of 60+ adults! This is the rescheduled free musical performance from July, presented by West Broadway Neighborhood Association (WBNA)

Bike Week

Dash Bicycle is a full-service community-oriented bicycle shop in the Federal Hill neighborhood of Providence. Meet them at the farmers market for informative bike tutorials with a mobile work station.

 
September 20, 4-6pm
Cooking Demo — “RI Black Men Cooking”

Presented by our market vendor African Alliance of Rhode Island.The farmers market will be in full swing 3:30-7pm (or dusk), and this FREE cooking demo and tasting will be 4-6pm. The cooking demo will feature Chef LTC. William T. White, III along with Chef Hinds of Heaven On Earth Delights, and nutritionist Temi Sonubi.
