ARMORY MARKET SHARE

The Armory Market Share is a simple way to support your neighborhood farmers market while making fresh, local food part of your weekly routine.

When you join, you purchase a seasonal market share and receive weekly vouchers to spend at the Armory Park Farmers Market. You can use your vouchers with any vendor and buy whatever you like: vegetables, fruit, bread, eggs, prepared food, flowers, and more.

It’s similar to a CSA, but more flexible—you choose what you buy each week.

By joining the Market Share, you’re helping keep the Armory Market strong, supporting local farms and food businesses, and investing in the West End community.

Members join the Market Share to:

It’s one of the easiest ways to support your neighborhood and eat well all season long.

The Armory Park Farmers Market runs from June through October (22 weeks).
Each week during the season, Market Share members receive vouchers to spend at the market.

The market takes place:
Thursdays, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Dexter Training Ground – West End, Providence

We offer two share sizes based on how much you plan to spend at the market each week:

Half Share
$440 for the season
$20 per week
Good for 1–2 people

Full Share
$880 for the season
$40 per week
Good for 2–4 people

Members pay for the season up front and receive vouchers throughout the market season.

Vouchers can be used with any Armory Market vendor for locally grown or made products, including:

• Fresh vegetables and herbs
• Fruit and berries
• Eggs, meat, and dairy
• Bread and baked goods
• Prepared foods
• Flowers and plants
• Honey, jams, and specialty foods
• Handmade goods and crafts

You choose what you want each week—no pre-packed boxes.

When you arrive at the market:

1. Stop by the Welcome Table
2. Check in with your name
3. Receive your weekly vouchers
4. Spend them with any vendor at the market

Vouchers come in small increments, and vendors can give cash change if needed.

No. You can save vouchers and use them later in the season if you don’t spend them all in one visit. 

All vouchers must be used before the end of the market season in October.

We encourage members to shop regularly so vendors can count on steady sales throughout the season.

If you miss a week:

• You can pick up missed vouchers the following week, or
• A friend, family member, or neighbor can pick them up for you

If more than two consecutive weeks are missed without pickup, unused vouchers will be used to purchase produce for donation through our Hope’s Harvest program.

We encourage members to come regularly to get the most out of their Market Share and support vendors consistently.

Yes! Anyone can pick up your vouchers for you. They just need to give us your name at the Welcome Table.

No. The Armory Market Share is more flexible than a traditional CSA.

Instead of receiving a pre-selected box, you receive vouchers and choose exactly what you want to buy each week from market vendors.

Anyone can join! Whether you are a long-time West End resident or new to the neighborhood, the Market Share is a great way to support the Armory Market and become part of the market community.

More members means more support for local farms, more vendors, and a stronger neighborhood market.

The Market Share is a seasonal commitment that helps vendors plan for the market season, so refunds are generally not available.

If you are unable to use your vouchers, they may be used to purchase produce from vendors for donation through our Hope’s Harvest program. We can also provide a donation letter for the value of unused vouchers.
