Jessy grew up in the Hudson Valley, and came to Rhode Island in 2017 to study Geology-Biology at Brown. Over her time in Providence, she has developed a passion for the intersections of social justice, sustainable agriculture, and ecological resilience. Jessy has worked with Farm Fresh Rhode Island since 2021 in their Community Education, Harvest Kitchen, and Hope’s Harvest programs. Now, she is grateful to continue supporting RI farmers and eaters, increasing access to locally grown food, and building community as the Farmers Market Program Coordinator with the Food Access Team. In her free time, she can be found lounging around with her cat, knitting a sweater, or cooking up a storm with friends and family.
