Colleen came to Providence for undergrad where she studied the interconnection of environmental issues and societal responses in a major called “Science, Technology, and Society.” Post-grad, she has continued this focus through work involving outdoor education, climate change communication, sustainable food systems, and environmental justice. She has grown to love Rhode Island while working as a fish monger, environmental writer, and farm camp counselor. She’s so excited to help make fresh food accessible as a Gleaning Associate with Hope’s Harvest.
