Addy grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and became passionate about growing veggies in high school. She moved to Providence to attend Brown University and majored in Science, Technology, and Society with a focus in food equity and agricultural science. While at Brown, she worked as the Ethical Food Sourcing Associate for Brown Dining Services. She also spent two seasons at Gather Farm (in Johnston, RI), where she served as their Community Engagement Director and worked as a member of their 3-person production team. In her free time, Addy plays frisbee and paints chickens!
