Join us for the largest indoor farmers market in New England, 9am to 1pm every Saturday through April 2018! The market features a wide variety of locally grown produce, poultry, meats, and cheeses; locally caught fish and shellfish; baked goods and prepared foods; value-added items like salsas, jams, sauces, ferments, pickles, kimchi, and krauts; self-care products, decorations, and seasonal gifts; and so much more!
EXTENSIVE SELECTION OF LOCAL FOODS
With two long, connected hallways filled with vendors — which we refer to as the Green hallway (1005 Main Street entrance) and Yellow hallway (999 Main Street entrance) — there’s something for everyone at the Pawtucket Wintertime Farmers Market! See a full rundown of this season’s vendors, including who will be rotating on or off each week.
This Saturday at the Market
Are you ready for some March Madness!? It’s our annual month of FREE special-event Saturdays at the Pawtucket Wintertime Farmers Market!
This Saturday, the African Alliance of Rhode Island will be offering a free ceramics demo, cooking demo and tasting! (See the full schedule of March events.) And the March Madness Scavenger Hunt through the farmers market continues! REMEMBER: Turn in your completed map by 1pm on March 31 at any Pawtucket Wintertime Farmers Market Welcome Table.
All tastings & demos will be held in the delightful New Harvest Coffee Roasters Training Room, Suite 110, inside the farmers market (Yellow Hallway / 999 Main St entrance). Thanks New Harvest! |
Scavenger Hunt Through the Market!
The March Madness scavenger hunt takes place every Saturday in March — so you have many Saturdays to participate and be entered into a drawing to win great locally grown prizes! Pick up a Scavenger Hunt “map” at any Welcome Table (or from vendors) for instructions and to get started!
Eligibility: One entry per household. Customers and farmers market vendors can participate.
Grand Prize Drawing: The Grand Prize winner will receive a generous assortment of locally grown gifts from participating farmers market vendors!
Instructions: Collect 20 stamps or more on this map by attending events and purchasing items from participating vendors throughout March. Turn in your completed map by 1pm March 31, 2018 to Farm Fresh RI staff at any Pawtucket Farmers Market Welcome Table. Completed maps (20 stamps or more) will be entered in a drawing to win a Grand Prize or Runner-Up Prize (winners will be contacted after our drawing in early April; no attendance required).

COMPOST DROP-OFF
Did you know that local composter Earth Appliance Organics picks up household food waste at the farmers market? Simply collect your food scraps (please, no non-food items) and bring them to the marked bins on Dudley Street, which runs alongside the Hope Artiste Village building, where the farmers market is held. You’ll see a small green space and a big row of compost bins! If your compost is traveling in a container or plastic bag, please dump the contents into the bin (and dispose of the container or plastic bag elsewhere).
