Look Who’s Buying & Selling Local Food

August 29, 2019

Here are just a couple of the many wholesale customers who ordered from local farmers, fishers, foragers, ranchers, and food makers through Market Mobile this week!

RISD — Metcalf Refectory (“The Met”)
30 Waterman St
Providence, RI

With seating for more than 300 guests, the Met is the largest dining room on campus and offers a wide variety of freshly prepared items for guests to enjoy. The menu of traditional, vegetarian and vegan recipes features innovative entrées and special creative cuisines, as well as an artisan pizza oven, a salad and deli bar and a mouth-watering array of homemade desserts and pastries made on site.

Sarma
249 Pearl St
Somerville, MA

Sarma is a restaurant & bar where food, drink and music come together in a vibrant celebration of the good things in life. Modeled after the traditional meyhanes of Turkey, the menu is a large selection of small, seasonal plates ( meze ) that are designed to be shared. The flavors represent the Mediterranean and encourage food-friendly cocktails, craft beers or a glass of wine from a small but carefully selected list.
