Local Businesses Sourcing Local Food This Week

July 3, 2018

Here are just a couple of the many wholesale customers who ordered fresh food from local farms through Market Mobile this week!

Seven Stars Bakery
829 Hope St, Providence
342 Broadway, Providence
20 Newman Ave, East Providence

When we opened Seven Stars in January 2001, we had a simple mission: Bake great stuff and treat our customers well. Seven Stars Bakery is a family owned and operated business that started on Hope Street on the East Side of Providence. We started with a very small staff and have grown to be a team of over 80 amazing, dedicated, hard working people. Whether a baker who works through the night, a delivery driver who gets the goods where they need to go, or a barista who makes the best latte around, the team that brings great products to our customers each day is key. We believe in the products that we make and serve and we believe that the customer should feel like a guest in our home. Thank you to our customers who allow us to do what we love to do each day!
— Lynn & Jim Williams

Simmons Cafe & Market
78 Crandall Rd
Little Compton, RI, 02837

F. A. Simmons in Adamsville was a rural version of a convenience store for 92 years, selling groceries, ice cream and food. Today, Simmons Cafe and Market is… a jazzy place with a cool vibe for keeping the old element of a corner store while adding local products, wholesome market items, and farm-to-table foods. It’s the old F.A. Simmons of 1900 with a flare for the 21st century! It is a worth-the-trip destination — general store, farmers market, and a cafe serving fresh, local and delicious food! Our customers are neighbors who are wonderful and very supportive and our resources are local farmers, artists, crafters, and small business people who need a great place to showcase their hard work and talent.
