Jazz Up Your Lunch July 31!

Enjoy local music while you lunch! Visit our Harvest Kitchen Local Foods Café in downtown Pawtucket 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 31, to hear jazz and standards performed by students from the Jacqueline M. Walsh School School for the Arts!

This special lunchtime event is a great excuse to come in and buy fresh, locally sourced lunch from our new café menu and relax in our light and airy space. We can’t wait to see you!

About the School

The Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts, located in Pawtucket Rhode Island, has been rated one of the top schools in the nation in US News and World Report. It prepares high school students for careers in music, dance, visual arts, dramatic arts, fashion and audio/visual arts.

About the Musicians

Medeski Dow, saxophone — a Sophomore at the Jacqueline M. Walsh School (JMW). He specializes in Jazz performance. He is a music major at JMW. While at JMW he’s had the opportunity to study at the philharmonic while also getting to play gigs across the state.

Andrew Dyson, percussion — also a Sophomore at the Jacqueline M. Walsh School. He is majoring in Percussion. When not pursuing academic and musical pursuits, Mr. Dyson hones his skills as a chef de cuisine and baker. As a music major, he has had the privilege of participating in numerous performances inside and outside of the school. He has played lots of gigs with the jazz band and played in the orchestral pit in the two musicals the school has put on.

Timothy Hennigan, Bass — studies Classical and Jazz Bass at the Jacqueline M. Walsh School. He enjoys skateboarding and athletics. He is a music major at JMW. Through the school he has had the opportunity to open for jazz legends such as Wynton Marsalis and the Steve Gadd, Chick Corea band.
