What are Fresh Bucks, you ask?
Launched by Farm Fresh Ri in 2007, Fresh Bucks are our token-based farmers market currency. They originated back before mobile credit card processing was common as a way to enable shoppers to still use cards to purchase from local vendors. Today, Fresh Bucks continue to add value at the market, keeping smaller vendors without their own credit card capabilities from missing out on sales — and providing an alternative to finding an ATM (and paying steep ATM fees) if you need cash at the market.
