Join us every Tuesday, 3–6pm, July 3 through October 30 at the Downtown Farmers Market in Providence! This diverse farmers market takes place on Washington St in Kennedy Plaza, beside Burnside Park, and features:
- Local farmers, food producers, and food trucks! This season, our vendors will include Steere Orchard, Pezza Farm, Daily farm, Naturally Karmah, Harvest Kitchen, and Alternutive — joined by food trucks Kay’s Ice Cream and Cafeina.
- Our Healthy Foods, Healthy Families programming — this season generously sponsored by the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy through a Southwest Heart of the Community grant. The program delivers fun, interactive activities to families that receive federal food assistance (WIC or SNAP). Activities are provided in English and Spanish, and empower parents and children to learn about affordable, seasonal food and how to prepare it in healthy ways that kids will love.
- Weekly family-friendly activities at the Imagination Center by Kidoinfo, brought to you in partnership with the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy — a public-private partnership formed to revitalize Downtown Providence’s exceptional public spaces. See below for schedule of events!
DOUBLE YOUR SNAP!
This market accepts Cash, Credit, SNAP/EBT, and WIC. And as of June 1, our Bonus Bucks nutrition incentives program is offering a 100% Bonus! That means for every dollar you spend with EBT, you get a FREE dollar in Bonus Bucks to spend on fresh fruits & vegetables at the market! (See all RI farmers markets accepting SNAP.)
