About the Filmmakers
Science on Screen creatively pairs screenings of classic, cult, science fiction, and documentary films with lively presentations by notable experts from the world of science and technology. Science on Screen is an initiative of the Coolidge Corner Theater, with major support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

About the Organizers
Farm Fresh RI envisions a New England abundant with diverse family farms and fertile soils, with locally and honestly produced foods and flavors at the heart of every table.

RI Food Policy Council is committed to a Rhode Island where there is no food insecurity; where the local food system grows, flourishes, and expands so as to meet the food and nutrition needs of all of its residents — resulting in the creation of a healthy food environment with zero waste and a thriving, just, and expanding local food economy.

The Providence Center for Media Culture‘s mission is to educate, engage, and build community through film and media programming.

The Cable Car Cinema & Cafè is a Providence Art House institution that has been screening the best in independent films since 1976.
