Join us for a week of free bicycle-related fun at our farmers markets in Providence, Pawtucket, and Central Falls!

Participating organizations include JUMP, Rhode Island Bicycle Coalition (RIBike) and The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council’s Red Shed Bike Shop, RECYCLE-A-BIKE, DASH Bicycle, the City of Providence’s Sustain PVD office, and our own Nutrition Education team.

The City of Providence, Sustain PVD In celebration of Bike Week, the City of Providence’s Mayor Jorge Elorza will join the Rhode Island Bicycle Coalition and other Providence community members for a group ride to the Armory Farmers Market. JUMP by Uber JUMP creates on-demand electric bikes and scooters. There are over 1,100 JUMP bikes throughout the city of Providence. Stop by their booth at the farmers market to learn more and test-ride a bike. |

RI Bike Coalition & woonasquatucket River Watershed Council’s Red Shed Bike Shop Professionals will be on hand to review bike basics including bike fit, safety, and handling skills. Participants will run through stopping, starting, scanning, signaling, and dodge obstacles on a path. Some bikes will be provided, but bring your own if you have one! |

Recycle-A-Bike (RAB) RAB is bringing their community bike shop to the farmers market! Visit RAB to get a quick tune-up, clean your bike up, and learn more about your bike. Meet RAB’s staff and volunteers and learn more about repair/maintenance classes and programming for the whole family! |
