September 1 – 30 is the 20th Annual Pawtucket Arts Festival — a month-long celebration of Pawtucket’s creative life. And ourHarvest Kitchen crew will be there, at the Slater Park Fall Festival! The Festival features an open-air market that highlights crafters, artisans, and creators of original handmade items selling their wares from 11:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, September 8 & Sunday, September 9.
This year’s Slater Park Fall Festival also includes a pop-up skate park organized by Collective PVD, food trucks, a pop-up printshop run by Ocean State Maker Mill, a vintage baseball game, family-fun activities, music and poetry performances, and the Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance presentation of the RI Philharmonic ‘Pops in the Park’ followed by fireworks.

We’re teaming up with farmer Miatta Cooper of Southside Community Land Trust’s Market Grower’s Collaborative, Beautiful Day, and Honey for Haiti to bring Pawtucket Arts Festival-goers delicious and nutritious snacks that support the mission of these great local organizations!
Harvest Kitchen: a culinary training program for DCYF youth and local-foods café in Pawtucket.
Southside Community Land Trust: programs, community gardens, and farms serving urban neighborhoods.
Beautiful Day: premium granola, hand-crafted by refugees in RI — providing vital on-the-job training for refugees.
Honey For Haiti: sustainable, income-generating development projects in Haiti for children impacted by HIV/AIDS

On Sunday during the Fall Festival, join us at the Slater Park farmers market! Located near the tennis courts inside the park, the farmers market runs 12:00pm to 3:00pm and features a wide variety of foods from local farmers and producers, including Shady Pine Farm, Aleppo Sweets, Hill Orchards, Rustic Roots Baking, Naturally Karmah, Oakdale Farm, Fugo Food Truck, and Harvest Kitchen — all in a family-friendly location.
Plus, this market also offers our Healthy Foods, Healthy Families nutrition education program for families with children under 12 receiving SNAP benefits. Stop by for fun activities, recipes, and more!
